Illawarra Shoalhaven Medicare Local operates the region’s two headspace youth health hubs in Wollongong and Nowra.

headspace Illawarra and headspace Shoalhaven deliver information, support and services throughout the region to young people aged 12-25 and their families.

headspace can help with general health, mental health and well-being and with alcohol and other drug issues. Information and support to assist with employment and education is also available.

Staffed by youth workers, GPs, psychologists and mental health nurses, our headspace centres can help connect young people with the right health worker for their needs.

You can contact headspace no matter how big or small your problem may seem. Getting help early makes a significant difference to how quickly and how well you can get your life back on track.
