Mental Health Nurse
Opening in early 2012 in Nowra, this is an exciting development for the region, bringing young people and their families a youth-friendly community-based health service staffed by a multidisciplinary team. Applicants must be accredited or approaching accreditation under the Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program. The position holder will be required to provide clinical nursing services for young people (aged 12 to 25) with enduring mental disorders and to work closely with GPs and allied health staff to facilitate the provision of coordinated clinical care and treatment for young people, in keeping with the Australian Government Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program (MHNIP) guidelines. Clinical Lead
We are seeking an experienced mental health clinician with the ability to lead and develop the mental health team, implement and monitor quality clinical systems and liaise with external health service providers. Experienced and highly proficient in MS Office with well developed verbal & written communication skills and the ability to engage & communicate effectively with young people, committed to customer service & teamwork, possess initiative & attention to detail and demonstrated time management skills.
